The Three Castles Trial is for Everyone
As ever unmissable, the 2027 Three Castles Trial from 8th - 11th June will again be based in the attractive seaside town of Llandudno. Competitors will enjoy three days of competitive rallying in a special, relaxed format. Their cars covered up to 500 miles on smooth surfaces, visiting many of the most attractive locations in North Wales and travelling over scenic rally roads.
The competition takes place over 20 regularity sections and a similar number of driving tests on private land. Just as important, hotels, lunch halts and evening venues will be of sustained high quality, for an enjoyable all-round experience that's very hard to beat.
Quite apart from the competition, there’s so much to enjoy on the Three Castles. Llandudno is a charming town that delights and surprises first-time visitors. You will stay in Llandudno throughout, so you can make yourself at home. Our dedicated Hospitality Team ensures that lunch, coffee and tea breaks run smoothly and also organises no less than six evening functions over three evenings.
A first evening Reception and Dinner bring everyone together and build the atmosphere. On Day One, you enjoy a choice of dinner venues, both included and optional. On Day Two, you enjoy a free evening, perhaps relaxing with new friends. And on Day Three, our Awards Dinner brings it all to a splendid close.

The Three Castles experience
The Three Castles Trial combines competitive classic rallying with the relaxed and sociable atmosphere for which the event has become known. Regularity sections reward consistency and teamwork between driver and navigator, while driving tests provide an opportunity for a little more competition.
But the Trial is about much more than results. Memorable roads, spectacular North Wales scenery, welcoming venues and convivial evenings are all part of the experience. Whether competing for honours or simply enjoying the adventure, the emphasis is on good competition, good company and enjoying classic cars as they were meant to be enjoyed.
Experienced crews and first-time competitors alike are welcomed into the same friendly, sociable event.

The 'classic' Three Castles formula: four days, including the Penderyn Prologue Day on June 8th; a fun balance of around twenty regularities and a similar number of driving tests.
Enter the Classic Category for all cars 1954-1985 or the Heritage Category for prewar and precious cars up to 1953.
